We have some updated photos of our on-going AJCKG Child Sponsorship Program here in the Philippines. It is touching to see how AJCKG has made a difference in these children’s lives!
These are Howell and Maricel Basarte with two of their four children, Philip Boss and Ledee Aubrey, recipients of our child sponsorship. They wrote this message on a cartolina paper showing their gratitude for AJKG founder, Rev. Juliet Metcalf, as a channel of God’s provision and help for their children.
Our AJCKG partner, Ptr. Janapril Maglipon, based in Pangil, Laguna, handing out the funds for the children.
These are Shekinah and Agapeh in their school uniforms, recipients of our AJCKG child sponsorship with their father, Ptr. Janapril Maglipon.
Our AJCKG coordinator, Ptr. Win Mallorca, with Shekinah and Agapeh Maglipon.
Shown below is Shekinah Maglipon helping her parents to prepare moringga for our tinola chicken dish.

Here is one of our AJCKG child sponsorship recipient from Barangay Punta Taytay, Bacolod City, Philippines. Lovely Gelio-agan, daughter of our Bacolod AJCKG partners, Ptr. Ronald and Rhoda Gelio-agan, in her school uniform ready for her first day at school. Lovely almost missed school this year if not for the very timely assistance of the AJCKG ministry. Her father and mother cried tears of joy when the funds came in the nick of time. Praise God!
This is Mizpah Jowynne Mallorca, daughter of our AJCKG coordinator Ptr. Win Mallorca, all ready for her first day of school last June 4, 2014. Her mother, Joey, sighed with big relief and joy when she learned that AJCKG will be helping out her daughter. Jowynne made this photo collage herself and posted it on her FB timeline.
Shekinah Keith Ligarto, a AJCKG child sponsorship recipient, can hardly contain herself for her first time to go to school. She is the only daughter of our AJCKG partners, Ptr. Ricky and Alicia Ligarto, based in Las Piñas City, Philippines.
This was Shekinah Keith’s first time ever to be in school. Her mother, Sis. Alicia, taking out her cellphone to snap the picture.
For her first artwork, Shekinah received a “very good” stamp at the back of her right hand from her teacher which she was proud to show her mom.
Good work, Shekinah! Keep it up! You’ll make your parents and AJCKG proud!
We continue to give praise and thanksgiving to God for the people through AJCKG whom God has used to provide for the needs of these children. To AJCKG and these people, we say a big thank you!
For the needy shall not always be forgotten; The expectation of the poor shall not perish forever. (Psalm 9:18)
The poor shall eat and be satisfied; Those who seek Him will praise the LORD. Let your heart live forever! (Psalm 22:26)
